Mindful Wellness Warrior
Mindful Wellness Warrior – Kirsty’s Fun Fitness & TRE
For 24 years, I have been teaching fitness, bringing my love of movement, music and people to Broad Oak Village Hall for the past two years.
And if you think fitness classes have to be serious, intimidating or all about keeping up… think again!
My classes are all about moving, having fun, singing along to great music and being part of a community. The exercises are adaptable, so whether you’re new to exercise, returning after some time away or already love keeping active, you can work at your own level.
There are currently classes throughout the week:
Monday – Dance Fever- 5.30pm
A fun, energetic dance fitness class packed with great music and some challenging choreography.
Tuesday – Fitness Ballet- 5.30pm
A mix of ballet-inspired movement, body conditioning, strength and flexibility. We are NOT a ballet class! Just a fun take on it!
Friday – Themed Dance Fitness- 5.30pm
The theme changes every quarter, keeping things fresh and exciting. From Disco Nights and Back to the 90s to Summer Vibes, there’s always something to look forward to! Easy to pick up choreography!
Saturday – Popular Pilates- 9.00am
Not your traditional, classical Pilates class! This is functional body conditioning combining Pilates-inspired movements, resistance work, strength, mobility and flexibility, all with great music and plenty of fun.
All classes are 55 minutes, and they’re genuinely for all ages. My current members range from 23 to 80, proving that there’s no age limit to enjoying movement, music and a good laugh!
TRE – Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises are also offered every fortnight on a Sunday in 75-minute sessions. 16:00 – 17:15, providing a very different approach to supporting the body and releasing tension.
But perhaps the biggest thing that makes Mindful Wellness Warrior different is the people.
The classes have become a real fitness family, with friendships, laughter, encouragement and regular socials throughout the year. It’s not just about turning up, exercising and going home, it’s about having somewhere to go, people to see and an hour in your week that’s just for you.
Move. Dance. Feel Good.
That’s what Mindful Wellness Warrior is all about. All classes and sessions need to be pre-booked as spaces are limited.
